Located in the heart of Palmerston North city, we are a brand new, purpose-built childcare centre that combines the feel of a homely environment with space and resources to promote healthy development for children from 0 – 5 years.
Our focus is on providing a safe, caring and giving environment that has a multicultural approach, which empowers communication and independence. Children are encouraged to enquire, participate and express through a series of fun activities designed to develop their imagination and pique curiosity.
Respect & Care . Belonging . Commitment . Learning & Growing
Our childcare philosophy is strongly based on inspiring children to explore their environment at their own pace, through fun activities that encourage them to develop a love of learning. Identity and culture; self-esteem and respect; participation and inclusion; language and expression; and curiosity and inquiry are the pillars of our place, programme and people. Visit our child care centre to see how we bring this rich philosophy to life.
At the forefront of our childcare learning programme, we live and breathe fun, discovery and imagination. Our calm and unhurried spaces provide plenty of opportunities for rich conversations and individual learning. We are aware and responsive to children’s cultural identity, incorporating and extending this though many aspects of our daycare programme.
Purpose-built with children in mind, we offer an extensive range of resources that support creativity and imagination in young minds. The outdoor environment is designed as a natural setting that encourages children’s natural curiosity, wonderment and awe. The interiors are sunny and spacious, welcoming children and their whanau. We invite you to come around, say hello and see our space for yourself.
Our best resources are our teachers – a wealth of passionate, talented, experienced and loving people who make up the rich fabric of our centre. Led byCentre Director Megan Woods, our teachers offer gentle, respectful guidance for children through quality, responsive interactions and a collaborative ‘community’ approach to teaching and learning. Pop in and say hello to our team.
